This means you’re going to be covered by your insurance when you come to the Mora Chiropractic Clinic because insurance companies have made our clinic their participating provider for this area. If you do not have insurance, we are more concerned about your health than your money. We are always willing to make a payment plan that fits your budget.
DO I NEED A REFERRAL TO SEE A CHIROPRACTOR?
No. In all 50 states, Chiropractors are recognized as primary care providers. If you have been involved in a car accident, have an injury, a headache, back pain, or numerous other conditions, you can come directly to the Mora Chiropractic Clinic – without the need of a referral from a medical doctor. Additionally, at the Mora Chiropractic Clinic, our Chiropractors are in-network preferred providers for all major insurance companies and nearly every insurance provider in the State of Minnesota. If for some reason we are not a preferred provider, we can find a way to work with you to get you the treatment plan you need. You may want to check with your company-sponsored insurance to find out if there are any unique out-of-pocket expenses associated with your plan.

The Chiropractic adjustment is a light and targeted force applied to your spine which returns your spinal joints back to near normal. It is shown to be both natural and safe.
WILL I RECEIVE MEDICATION FOR MY PAIN?
No. Chiropractic is a safe, natural, and pain-free treatment which does not use pain medication prescriptions. If pain medication is needed, most patients find over the counter medications take care of their needs just fine. If further medication is necessary, consult with your family medical provider.
WHAT RESULTS CAN I EXPECT FROM MY TREATMENT?

WHAT MAKES THAT SOUND DURING AN ADJUSTMENT?

CAN A PERSON WITH PREVIOUS BACK SURGERY SEE A CHIROPRACTOR?
The Mora Chiropractic Clinic has treated many people who have had back surgery. A modified spinal adjustment procedure is often used in this situation. We currently are treating patients who have had multiple back surgeries.
IS CHIROPRACTIC CARE ADDICTIVE?
No. Chiropractic care is not addictive. However, Chiropractic adjustments at the Mora Chiropractic Clinic often make patients feel so much better, they frequently come back again for regular checkups and routine body maintenance.
IS IT OKAY TO SEE A CHIROPRACTOR IF I'M PREGNANT?
As pregnancy progresses and the body changes, Chiropractic adjustments have been found to be very helpful. No harmful medications or devices are put into the body, making Chiropractic absolutely safe for both the mother and child.
WHAT DO I DO IF I HAVE A SLIPPED DISC OR PINCHED NERVE?
The disc is found between the back bones (vertebrae). Most often, a disc will bulge rather than slip. Various traction types of spinal adjustments to relieve the pressure on pinched nerves have been found to be the most effective. The Mora Chiropractic Clinic has successfully helped many types of disc problems and pinched nerves for all body types for over 65 years.
WHAT IS A SUBLUXATION?
A subluxation refers to the vertebrae bones that are not working the way they are supposed to work. Basically, there is a very slight (sometimes severe) misalignment which impacts the nervous system causing cascading adverse health effects throughout the body.
